UC-SANTA CRUZ SWEEPS TEAM, SINGLES, DOUBLES TITLES

Top-ranked University of California-Santa Cruz posted a 5-1 win against No. 3 Emory University on Thursday to win the 2007 NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Championship at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center in St. Louis, Mo. The championship for UC-Santa Cruz is the sixth in school history. The Banana Slugs also took home the singles and doubles titles Sunday, as senior Matt Seeberger opened the day by winning the singles draw. Seeberger, a three-time singles and doubles champion, also paired with Max Ortiz to claim the doubles crown.
